Day 22 - Thursday 7/9/2026 - Skagway AK

Today we stayed in Skagway and walked a couple of miles to check out the cute town. 

We mingled with what appeared to be a couple thousand people who got off the cruise ships 🚢 that docked here.

We bought some t-shirts and stuff.

Then went to the Skagway Hardware Store to get supplies to re-attach our kitchen sink.  It is under-mounted below the countertop, and it became detached yesterday while driving (evidently a common Earth Roamer LTS problem after about 10 years of use).  

We had a nice meal with some local Klondike Brewery Eldorado Lager at The Station Bar and Grill. 

 

It was a warm, sunny day and we ate outside and enjoyed watching people go by, and the kitties enjoyed being able to stay in one place and look out the windows all day.

We added a hat holder up by our bed to hold our two travel hats we got in Jackson Hole, WY a few years ago.  They are always difficult to store when traveling.

Mike installed a Starlink Mini to the roof of ER150 several months ago (amongst the 1200+ watts of solar panels) to give us all-the-time internet while on adventures.  We thought we would have to relocate it to the ground away from trees while camping - but it is working perfectly for us as is.

Tomorrow we take the ferry to Haines, AK.
