Sunday we drove 130 miles from Liard Hot Springs to Watson Lake in Yukon, YT. We started the drive by seeing 3 black bears along the road, and we saw 2 momma buffaloes with their little babies
and then a large bull buffalo nearby.
We saw an adult snowshoe hare too (no picture). It rained a little and was cool, then hot, then cool again.
We stopped at Lucky Lake and hiked a trail through the forest for about 2 miles. We assumed the sign for "Flying Discs" was for errant Disc Golf discs and not UFO's. :)
There was a beautiful Pacific loon out in the middle of the lake.
Welcome to Yukon, YT!
We of course added our sticker to the Yukon sign
and then ventured to the Sign Post Forest near Watson Lake. What a fun stop! We left an Auburn tag sign which we covered with our stickers. We also added a few random stickers in the Forest.
We ended the day at the Watson Lake Campground (Site #45). It is quiet and peaceful here, and we decided to stay two nights to enjoy this place.

Tatanka!!! Enjoy seeing the fun stops and wildlife!
